In addition to our traditional restaurant locations, we are proud to have a dedicated smokehouse to produce delicious sausage and boudin. We use 100% pork meat slow-cooked the old-fashioned way over hard wood for 6 to 7 hours. Absolutely no artificial smoke flavoring or fillers are used as additives. And, of course, our Jambalaya Shoppe Smokehouse seasoning mix, a special blend of just the right seasonings, brings out the Cajun flavor of our sausage and boudin.
As well as key ingredients used by all The Jambalaya Shoppe franchise restaurants for preparing jambalaya, gumbo, and other menu items, our smoked sausage products are also available for purchase at local supermarkets!
Our USDA inspected processing plant produces between 1,000 and 1,500 pounds of sausage daily. Regular Smoked Sausage, Hot Sausage, Green Onion Sausage, and Pork Boudin! And all are gluten free! All our meat products are packaged under The Jambalaya Shoppe Smokehouse label.
